Description: Nausicaa is a character in Homer’s Odyssey. She is the daughter of King Alcinous  and Queen Arete of Phaeacia. Odysseus is shipwrecked on the coast of an island of their kingdom and with Nausicaa’s and her mother’s help he wins the approval of king Alcinous who provides Odysseus with the ships that finally bring him home to Ithaca.
